I have no experience with either, am considering a new recorder also, so
will be interested in any responses and advice others can offer. I've
looked at these two (well, actually the Pioneer 633 w/ 160 GB hard drive
vs. the 533's 80 GB), and the biggest differences I can see are that the
Pioneer(s) can record to dual-layer discs (DVD-R DL) and the Panasonic has
the slot for SD cards. Otherwise, ... ???
