It's too much to expect cable companies to replace the coax that's been
installed in millions of homes and apartments over the last 50 years.
It will probably always remain as a delivery system for the raw signal,
that's not to say that we should be saddled with it on our end when
there are better choices available. Or hadn't you noticed that DVD
players and video game machines don't even bother with coax anymore?
