ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN: TWO-DISC SPECIAL EDITION (reviewed by Ryan
Keefer, overall score 93/100):
"One of the reasons why All the President's Men is standard material for
high school journalism classes is that the reporting by Woodward and
Bernstein is as much about the failures as it is the successes. A
significant amount of time is spent watching the reporters having doors
closed in their faces by unwilling subjects."

THE BEST OF THE ELECTRIC COMPANY (reviewed by Chris Claro, overall
score 90/100):
"Its combination of sketches, songs and animation has been duplicated
countless times by dozens of imitators in the last 35 years, but for
sheer infectious enjoyment, it remains unmatched."

THE CARY GRANT BOX SET (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 90/100):
"His Girl Friday (1940) is easily the best movie in the collection. It
simultaneously redefined and ended the screwball comedy by being the
best example of the genre. It's a golden piece of fast-played farce, so
well delivered and believable it sings like a fine symphony."

CAST IN GRAY (reviewed by George Hatch, overall score 97/100):
"Cast in Gray is a fascinating journey through the mind of a man on the
brink of self-destruction, and director Toth makes the most of the
premise. Is the Man with The Dog a figment of The Man's imagination, an
alter-ego used as a sounding board for his suicidal intentions, or is
the hitchhiker some kind of angel, a form of divine intervention
deployed at a time of crisis? I have no plans of spoiling your enjoyment
by even hinting at how these scenarios pan out."

DOMINO (reviewed by Eric Profancik, overall score 90/100):
"In fact, after watching this DVD and going back to the teaser trailer,
that teaser was a lot better than I thought. I just couldn't get past
that 'My name is Domino Haahvee, and I'm ah bountee huntah!' Turns out I
missed a pretty good film. Judging by its low grosses, so did you."

DUNE: EXTENDED EDITION (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 88/100):
"What went wrong? The script is an unholy mess -- full of lost subplots
from the novel, disturbing voiceover narrations, and useless additions
to the Dune mythology."

HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: SEASON ONE, VOLUME TWO (reviewed
by David Johnson, overall score 97/100):
"By mixing up the villainy, and tossing in a barrage of weird plot
devices like The Golden Disks of Knowledge, The Fountain of Life, the
Scarab of Power, the Dimension Sphere, and the Stirrups of Eternal
Lamentation (I made that last one up), the imagination meter blows way
past 'psychotropic drug-induced.'"

MARJOE (reviewed by Neal Masri, overall score 90/100):
"Marjoe Gortner is like a combination of Elmer Gantry and Abbie Hoffman.
His weird mix of born again fire and countercultural cynicism makes him
a fascinating tour guide through the business of religion in America."

MY LITTLE PONY: THE PRINCESS PROMENADE (reviewed by David Johnson,
overall score 85/100):
"And what is our primary function? Breeding, of course. It is our seed
the females are solely interested in."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/mlppromenade.php
THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING: SPECIAL EDITION (reviewed by Brendan
Babish, overall score 91/100):
"Don't let the serious subject matter scare you away. The Unbearable
Lightness of Being is funny, erotic, enlightening and thoroughly
entertaining."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/lightness.php
VODKA LEMON (reviewed by Dan Mancini, overall score 95/100):
"In the interview that comprises the liner notes of this DVD release,
Saleem quotes a 17th-century Orientalist: 'The Kurds are both the
saddest and most joyous people.' If we had only Vodka Lemon against
which to judge the accuracy of that statement, we'd have to conclude
it's one-hundred percent true."

WHERE THE SIDEWALK ENDS (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall
score 94/100):
"Taken as a whole, Preminger's realization of the characters in Ben
Hecht's screenplay started an archetypal ripple that has yet to abate."
