Sorry, but I think that's bollocks! There must be some other reason.
I mean, look at those "two for a quid" DVDs you get in Poundland - the
films are absolute shite*, and the profit margin must be close to nil,
yet they must be making some money from it or they wouldn't bother.
People seem to buy any old cack if it's cheap enough.
"Monte Carlo or Bust", on the other hand, is a fairly well known film
which stars some extremely well known people (Pete 'n' Dud for god's
sake) - surely there's a pretty big market for that sort of thing?
*apart from the "Beach Girls/Cavegirl" double bill - that was
fantastic!
