Thanks people, turns out that retailers don't think it plays VBR due to
no mention in Creative's specs - but I phoned Creative and they said
yes it does, as mirrored by those battery test links. Crazy marketing -
must be others like me who give it a miss thinking it won;t play them..
Was going to order one, then got put off by all the threads I found
regarding dodgy earphone jacks. Maybe recent ones are better but too
risky for me, that would drive me mad! Vusys 20gig bargain for me, just
irritated it's got a built in battery..
