BTW, what firmware version do you have? Is it an old version or fairly
new one? According to a post on the Videohelp.com DVD Hacks list for the
DVR-520H,
Here are the instructions to get this info:
Press "HOME MENU"
Choose "Initial Setup"
then "AUDIO OUT"
Put "DIGITAL OUT" to "OFF"
Press "RIGHT" button
Then the "ANGLE" button
These are my results (I believe my unit is fairly old):
Version: 1.57
SysCon: Release_90
TUFLCON: 1.22M
Drive: 1.13D
Device: PRISM-PLUS
Region: 1
What do you get?
I have not yet had the opportunity to test any 16X DVD-R, but my 8x DVD-R
(Maxell) work perfectly as do my 4x DVD-RW (Maxell). I will try this
when I can get some 16X DVD-R Maxells. I love this brand!!!
