Could there be a loose video connection or is the signal week into the
tuner. I wondering if the tuner is having to reacquire the signal to the
statin you have turned to for some reason. As an experiment you may want to
turn to a channel, then unplugged (unscrew) your video cable, wait a second,
then plug back in the cable and seei if the window pops up. If this is the
case you may need to put some kind of amplification in the signal path to
prevent this irritation.
