Actually, I'd be rather interested in an extended cut. Kingdom of Heaven
had one of the best supporting casts in recent memory, so provided the added
scenes are mostly about Jeremy Irons and David Thewlis and others, then I
shall be quite pleased.
Haven't bought the extended cut of Gladiator (the lack of DTS seems silly.
Why not just give it an intermission and split it over two disks?) But, some
of the deleted scenes in that are amongst my favourite scenes in the movie
(can't imagine why they cut that scene of Commodus in the catacombs)
Kingdom Of Heaven may not be a perfect movie, but it does have plenty of
merits.
Also, thanks for posting this. Was going to be the original DVD now that
it's getting cheaper, but now I'll wait.
Annoying, though, to see that 20th Century Fox is apparently still sticking
with their old practice of releasing DVDs with the intention of releasing a
better version in a year or so.
