That was my original plan too, at the time, sell the TiVo for an
extortionate amount on Ebay and rely on the Sky+. In the end I decided
all the wonderful TiVo features (season passes that work, sp manager,
suggestions) were far more use to me than being able to record two
things at once.

Hadn't planned to buy a DVD recorder, but it came free with my plasma,
didn't really expect to use it much, but as I said, it now takes the
place of Sky+ as backup.
