I never shot with the xl1, but have an xl2 and a gl1.I've done several
2 camera shoots using these two and they match up fine. The only
problem is that I have to stay in 4:3, 60 on the xl2, to match up with
the gl1.
Since the gl1 came out at the same time as the xl1, it's strange that
you can't color match.Maybe you'd have better luck with an xl2 and the
gl2 ( xl2's can be bought used for 3k or under-great camera!).Or you
can be real safe and get another gl2.
