Guess you missed my point that:

I think that a 3 month period is not temporary and the fact that in 3
months, I have never gotten a disk shipped same day should say
something about their policy. It can basically be read 2 ways.
1) We will make every effort to ship your DVD the same day. OR
2) We will make every effort to ship your DVD the next day or later
unless we screw up and ship it the same day.
In either case, they still ship the same number of DVD's out every
week, so why would order even matter? Have they really oversold their
service that much, or are their workers leaving 4 hours before their
shift ends, thereby allowing them to not ship our the final batch.
Personally, I don't think Netflix is motivated at all to remedy
whatever problem they have in shipping out everybodys DVD's according
to the same scale because it has a lot to do with their profit margin,
hence the reason for them to create this policy and finally publish it.
I could really care less what movie is shipped next. Most of mine are
actually old TV shows that made it to DVD, so can be seen easily in an
evening. Anyhow, my point is that this is not an occasional thing, but
at least for me acts like a throttle (vastly in their favor) because
they 'choose' to hold onto them for a few days.
BTW, the majority of discs in my queue are "Available Now", so I won't
be affecting your viewing of Bambi II.
Even if their underlying policy hasn't changed and they have been doing
this all along, my problem is that it wasn't in the agreement when I
started the contract. Nor did I receive notice when they updated their
policy. For me, this is a good reason to not trust them as a company
and move on. Same sort of shit happened with Satellite internet and it
only takes one time to get burned before you loose trust.
So stop YOUR whining about people complaining about netflix. lol
