We've been using Intelliflix for about a month with the one year prepay
subscription. In that month we've received 12 DVDs and returned 9 without a
problem.
The service seems to be OK but I don't have a comparison. We haven't
received any real recent DVDs yet but we receive DVDs in on 1- 4 days
depending on the ship day and ship center. DVDs shipped early in the week
arrive quicker and DVDs from shipping centers that aren't routed through NYC
or other major USPS hubs arrive quicker. We haven't had any problems with
failed shipments or bad DVDs.
Although I don't recall the name, there is a site devoted to these mail DVD
services. They all seem to have their share of detractors with Netflix
getting hammered recently for their 'throttling' practice. We haven't seen
this with Intelliflix but they may throttle in a less obvious way.
