I did notice the Videonics units after my initial post. They certainly
look like they'd do the job, too. I have noticed a fair number of posts
where people are looking for broken Panasonics and Videonics to
canniablize for parts. I'd just as soon not have to go down that path
with school money, so I'm leaning toward either the software route or
hardware with a warranty.
