Interesting...
You don't EXPECT a Phillips, Sony, Panasonic or Toshiba DVD/VCR Combo Player
to last more than two years?
Is it the transport drives that wear out -- or the lasers that fail -- or
what?
I've had lots of these companies' products in the past -- going back over 40
years -- and they generally last FIVE years -- or more.
Defective Merchandise Today?
DVD/VCR Combo Players are flimsy, delicate and inherently prone to failure?
Some other important factors?
