I've been perfectly happy with this burner until just today. Despite
my upgrading to the latest firmware, I can't get this burner to
recognize blank Burn*Master 16x DVD-R discs.
I know that its not on the "approved" manufacturer's list, but even if
I can't burn 16x speed, it should still be able to tell that a blank DVD
has been insterted. The device works perfectly fine with Imation 12x
DVD-R's.
I've tried both Nero and Ulead (which came with the drive) and no luck.
Does anybody have any experience getting these to work?
