When I used to use DVDP I always paid for the delivery the first one up
from surface, whatever it was called. Stuff always used to arrive in ~7
days. Given the cost was only a couple of quid it seemed a good
compromise compared to the service that could takes ages. Still, I can't
comment on any recent issues - I gave up using them when they got hacked
a while back and leaked a load of c/c account details. Pity.
