Hey, what's with the disclaimer? The truth of the matter is that her
appeal was the Asian-American angle, and instead of exploring that (as
opposed to merely exploiting that, a la her immigrant mother routine),
it was a bunch of Jewish guys writing what they think Anglo-Saxons in
Wonder Bread Country want to see in an Asian-American who spoke good
English.
Come to think of it...that's pretty hilarious!
