PS: can you possibly show the FULL header of the email - cut and paste
in here will do nicely - you might discover the "US spam" isn`t
originating from there at all.
Basically, look through the header, and when you see the line with
your mail server / ISP listed, read the IP address before it on the
line.
That is the *only* line you can trust in the entire header, the rest
is likely to be forged.
If your ISP has a number of mail servers, follow the chain until you
find the first "non-your-ISP" IP address or server.
You can liken email to a letter sent through the post, with one
important difference - the envelope gets thrown away by the server,
you only get to see the contents.
You can write anything you like in the letter, as you know the
envelope will never be found.
Once you have the IP address, go to somewhere like
http://www.geektools.com
....and click the "whois" link at the top right
or
http://www.samspade.org
....put the IP address in the first box and hit "DO STUFF"
You`ll then see what the true source of the spam is.
