Some DVD recorders with internal HD have the ability to defrag the
hard drive.... my ILO made by Lite-on, for example. However, unless
you leave content on the hard drive indefinitely, there's really no
need to defrag. Just deleting all the content and starting "fresh"
with a clean hard drive accomplishes the same thing.
