I wonder how much is the postal service. I live in scottsdale arizona,
one major city away from the distribution point in phoenix and almost always
get a turnaround of three days. If I return a movie in the morning, netflix
will get it the next day and send it on that day. I'll get the replacement
on day three.
Maybe three movies in a hundred take more than a day to be sent out.
Worst case I had was a movie that took two days to be available and
another three days to reach me from the nonstandard distribution point.
I've had popular movies sit in my queue as "available soon" for upwards of
two weeks, but movies that are actually available will be sent instead until
the delayed movie is available.
