AOL users frequently suffer from this problem from what I remember,
and need to set their MTU to 1400 rather than the default of 1500 (did
it later change to 1480 by default in XP ?)
Also, who do talktalk piggy-back off - if they use the NTL network in
any way, being unable to load sites is a very common problem - its
something to do with the way their DNS server handles requests IIRC.
There`s a work-around that often gets recommended for win2k machines
at least, where you install a DNS server onto your desktop machine.
