OK, I was an early adopter and excused my LiteON LVW-5001 for crapping
out on me twice in the first year. Thank you Sam's Club for the 14.95
three year warranty. Those with this unit commonly report slow clocks,
green tint, locking up..

So I step up to a Panasonic DMR-ES20 becuase it's the highest rated
from a ton of users on Circuit City's website. True enough, I'm blown
away by the superior interface to the lite-on, how quiet it is, etc..

A few days pass and the DVD won't eject after finalizing. I have to go
behind the cabinet and unplug the unit. The AC spits as it fires up
and after it starts up I can reset eject the disc and reset my clock.

Is it just me or is that inexcusable? Remember the Panasonic beat the
Sony and Samsung units in all of the reviews.
