I saw it on a screener (I think) almost a year ago before there had
been any hype and whilst watching I just thought "something is gonna
happen soon" - but it didnt. For me it was a waste of an hour and a
half. I actually thought the direction the film chose to tell the
story by flitting about was done quite badly. (Best film for me that
achieved that successfully was Pulp Fiction)
But, isnt it usual for the "best film" to be a load of dross?
certainly many past winners have been! Did anyone actually like
"English Patient"? Its the one and only film Ive seen that I fell
asleep at the cinema!
