I think the big 3 (ABC, NBC, and CBS) has different criterias for
cancelling shows than maybe Fox or WB. I don't think you could compare
ratings for WB and ABC, and say a ABC show with comparable rating to a
WB show should stay on - an ABC affiliate pays lot more to air ABC
shows than an affiliate who airs WB shows so they have more at stake
when they start a new sitcom (I should know since my husband buys
advertising from both and it's night and day).
As far as I could remember, the show tanked after a month or so, and I
thought the show was terrible, but hey, each is own.
