Most of them do in the US. Europe has tax laws that cause odd
restrictions. Not all accept digital input; most that can record accept
analog input.

A remote camera. AKA a camera head.
People like motorcyclists like to have a very light camera head on
their helmet connected by cable to a camcorder stashed somewhere else,
in lieu of the awkwardness of a camcorder attached to the helmet.
