A customer of mine is looking to have a router / switch to switch
between several SDI signals that have embedded audio. They also would
like to have a DVD player with SDI out because the device that ingests
this content is SDI only. I am having issues finding a DVD player that
has SDI out and from what I have read they do not make a DVD player
that also embeds the audio in the SDI signal. I was hoping that
someone here has come across the DVD player issue before and would have
some insight into what possible solutions may be. If anyone could make
some recommendations as to what hardware I should purchase it would be
greatly appreciated. I am trying to stray away from a "make shift"
solution for this but if that is really the only economical route then
that is what I will have to do. I really would appreciate any advice
you could give regarding this; if you need more information just let me
know.
