Did I hit a nerve? I must have judging by you ad homenim reply. As for
the "toy" comment, again, it speaks volumes of you. But then you know
that it is the editor that makes the video. The equipment is only the
tool. As for being personal about Pinnacle gear, geez... let's see. I
first had an Amiga with a SuperGen genlock. Then Amiga Video Toaster
(still have it), then DPS Editbay (geez... if I were so *personal*, I
would have the Velocity right now), then Matrox RT2500, then a fully
functional great piece of gear, the DV500. That is when I started using
Pinnacle for editing. It worked for me and countless others. Upgraded to
software based NLE with Liquid, and now Avid Liquid. It works fine for
me and many others. You just refuse to hear about it for whatever biases
you (and others) have.
