When burning from multiple sources, especially with MP3 sources, I'd
always normalize. Chances are 90% of the time you'd spend most of your
listening time readjusting the volume control in any other way.
In order to avoid losing signal (if MP3s haven't lost most of the jist
anyway) I use Wavelab 5 for normalization (with a batch process). Come
to think of it, that's what I also use to burn my CDs in... It includes
CD-text capabilities, and burning at x4 speed would give the best
possible results in all audio burning (oh yeah - and ripping) programs
I've checked.
Worth a try.
