BLUE'S CLUES: BLUE'S ROOM: FRED'S BIRTHDAY (reviewed by David Johnson,
overall score 90/100):
"It's a party theme as these episodes of the popular kids show celebrate
Blue's balls."

THE BOB NEWHART SHOW: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON (reviewed by Dennis
Prince, overall score 94/100):
"'On Saturday night there was All in the Family, M*A*S*H, Mary Tyler
Moore, us and Carol Burnett. People stayed home. It was like
Thursday night with Seinfeld or with Cosby, people just arranged
their week around Saturday and they just didn't go out on Saturday.'
-- Bob Newhart."

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON (reviewed by Cynthia Boris, overall
score 80/100):
"The first few episodes of this season are hard to watch, not because
they're bad, but because they deal with Prue's death and the effect it
has on the sisters. The two-hour opener is quite sad and depressing, but
kudos to the creators for not shoving this plot point into the closet."

FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: JIMMY/TIMMY POWER HOUR 2 (reviewed by David Johnson,
overall score 85/100):
"The switching between Jimmy's CGI world and Timmy's two-dimensional
existence was clever, and it was a kick to see Timmy rendered in 3D
(though he looked like a deformed trout)."

GANTZ SEASON 1 BOX SET (reviewed by Jonathan Weiss, overall score
88/100):
"You'll love some characters and loathe others, but either way you
won't be able to slide in those DVDs fast enough to find out what
happens next."

GREY'S ANATOMY: SEASON ONE (reviewed by Bryan Pope, overall score
91/100):
"For a show that follows the straight and narrow, Grey's Anatomy is
enormously entertaining, benefiting immeasurably from liberal doses of
humor and spot-on casting choices. How can I possibly deny the appeal of
a show that has become a national phenomenon in just over a year,
sparking heated, Monday-morning water cooler discussions among its
legions of (mostly) female fans?"

MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS: TERRY JONES' PERSONAL BEST (reviewed by
Ryan Keefer, overall score 64/100):
"I'd advise passing on this release, and holding out for possible bigger
and better Python videos in the future."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/mpfcjonesbest.php
SERGEANT CRIBB: THE HORIZONTAL WITNESS (reviewed by James A. Stewart,
overall score 76/100):
"In these Cribb episodes, the cases play second fiddle to creating
vignettes of Victorian life and morality. Three episodes take a long
time to get around to the murder, then find Cribb dispatching the
culprit with barely a breath to resolve the case in 50 minutes."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/sergeantcribb.php
3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN: SEASON THREE (reviewed by Cynthia Boris, overall
score 90/100):
"3rd Rock from the Sun is the ultimate outsider tale. It's every story
of the poor boy who tries to fit in with the rich crowd. The adult
trapped in the body of a child, or a dog, or a car even! That's what
makes the show work. By getting inside the mind of four totally alien
beings, we get a chance to see how really weird our world is."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/3rdrockseason3.php
THE TOMORROW PEOPLE: SET 2 (reviewed by Eric Profancik, overall
score 75/100):
"Show creator Roger Price's ever-present anti-establishment concept
simply permeates the show, but if you venture much past that, you're
going to fall into horrible cliches and silly conceits. In fact, I'm
going to take it a step further and say that most of the stories
included in this show (at least what I've seen again in these two sets)
are plumb awful and ridiculous."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/tomorrowpeopleset2.php
TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL: THE THIRD SEASON, VOLUME 1 (reviewed by Patrick
Naugle, overall score 74/100):
"The Angels tackle everything from a boy with AIDS returning to his
childhood home to die, a secret service agent's kidney transplant, and a
streetwalker trying to work her way through drugs and prostitution. Of
course, as titillating and disturbing as these topics are, all are
handled in a very family friendly way that is never offensive or overly
disturbing."

WHO ARE THE DEBOLTS? AND WHERE DID THEY GET 19 KIDS? (reviewed by
Jennifer Malkowski, overall score 72/100):
"Frankly, I just have trouble believing it could be that easy to keep a
family so big and complex on track. Possible? Yes. Rewarding? Of course.
Easy, though, seems like a stretch."
