If you were running Disney, would you go out an announce to the general
public and your competitors "that" reason. It would be financial
suicide for Disney. The number of bootlegs or "unofficial" releases on
the market would skyrocket overnight, decreasing the potential value
for a legitimate release by Disney at a future date.
