Blimey, sorry about the delay replying Signal - I literally lost the thread.
Something very odd happened to the BT news server and thousands of posts all
arrived at once. Weird.
Anyhow, back to your point. No, in the days of which I speak HMV was limited
to its Oxford Street original. But I did see the Italian LPs in Import bins
legally for sale complete with appropriate import stickers. And in fact I
bought some and still have them. Lock me up!
Furthermore, my son has recently returned from China with some Chinese
DVDs - not in accordance with our copyright laws but not illegal to own in
the UK (might be different if he attempted to sell them here these days).
