DOOM IS AVAILABLE TO OWN AND RENT ON DVD & UMD FROM 3 APRIL 2006
 Universal Pictures are delighted to announce the highly anticipated DVD
 release of Doom, available to buy and rent on DVD and UMD from 3rd April
 2005. Based on the hugely popular video game, this explosive action packed
 thriller starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson ( The Mummy, The Scorpion King),
 Karl Urban ( The Bourne Supremacy, The Chronicles of Riddick) and Rosamund
 Pike ( Die Another Day, The Libertine) will blast viewers into an
 electrifying and dangerous vision of the future.
 
 Something has gone wrong at a remote scientific research station on Mars.
 All research has ceased, communication has failed and the messages that do
 get through are alarming. It's a level 5 quarantine, and the only souls
 allowed in or out are a Rapid Response Tactical Squad led by the mission
 hungry Sarge (The Rock) and his squadron, armed to the teeth with
 unprecedented firepower to carry on their mission.
