I know what you mean, Greg. No-one EVER complains about me if I don't post
smarmy shit to newsgroups, or don't send smarmy PM's to fellow peers on P2P
networks. But after I post them - complaints galore! It's the way of the

It's a fucking sin - that's what it is, Greg. You know, call me Mr.
Paranoid, or whatever, but I'm beginning to think that some of those guys
who say they've got T-3 connections have *really* got 56K modems! Yes! I
know, I know . . . . it's unlikely, but that's the way I'm beginning to
think.
Here's a transcript of a recent, unfortunate debacle I had on WinMX to
illustrate the point. I think I was very reasonable, and sensible about the
whole thing - but all I got was abuse.
Me : "Hey! Shithead! Yes - you! Mr. T-3 Speedy Gonzo-les! One upload - to me
only - and all I'm getting is *0.3*?! What the fuck?!"

SpeedyT3Gonzales : "i hav the t3 conectin fast i am spedy gonzalez
t3!!!!!!!!"

Me : "Is that right? Well, fuck YOU! Either you start pumping some 'extreme
upload' to me NOW or you can wave ta-ta to what you've been leeching from ME
for the last 6 hours at 4.1, you wank!"
