Someone I know is having a few problems with not-so-local-anymore
scrotes coming back to where they used to live and either causing
damage to cars, trying to kick their door in, or as happened last
night, dragged them into the street and gave them a good kicking.
Unfortunately, the house is in a terrace with no front garden, and the
chance of "hiding" a camera or two are NIL unless its the small square
ones - i`m thinking they could be hidden in a flower arrangement in
the window (preferably a pinhole as it would be harder to spot the
glass lens). I strongly suspect any external camera would be damaged
beyond repair very quickly...
Can anyone advise whether a 0.5 lux camera would be enough to capture
a half-decent image under normal street lighting conditions ?
Would this be of a sufficiently high image quality to be used as
evidence ? (they`re skint, and i`m not in a position to help them at
the moment)

I know there "may" be implications under the data protection act, but
safety is a higher priority - they`ve been threatened at knifepoint
before by the same people.
The police ?
"can`t help you, no evidence..."
