It's still blather. They'd probably be running 40 or 50 slots on a 56K
modem, too. You're assuming that those figures (40,000 KILOBIT) mean
something to clueless types. They don't. No more than what "56K" means to
them. You're giving WAY too much credence to all that 'multiplying by 8 and
dividing by 10' crap.

I assume people buy satellite connections because they can't get cable or
DSL. I doubt it's got anything to do with multi-thousand KILOBIT
advertising. You're "reaching" in all this.
