Had a quick look around Cash converters the other day, looking for cheap
DVD's, but I came out buying one of the above DVD recorders.. I'm
impressed! It was very easy to set -up, it's got video plus,it connected
to my existing 5.1 surround system, it's multi region, and it found my
NTL cable box, as well as finding all the standard TV stations ( BBC1
BBC2 ITV, etc..) It plays both DVD+R's and DVD-R's although it only
records with DVD+R or DVD+RW discs. OK, it's a big bulky thing, about
the same depth as my old video player, but, nevertheless, looks fine. It
plays in various record settings, from HQ, which will give you an hr's
worth of recording, to EP+, which will give you 6 hrs of recording time!
The best bit though, was the price, £62.99!! here's what other people

P.S has anyone out there got 1 as well? Have you tried recording through
Video plus?
