Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of EXCESSIVE FORCE II, FACE, HOUSE OF
VOICES, MALLRATS: 10TH ANNIVERSARY EXTENDED EDITION, MISTY MUNDAE EURO
VIXEN COLLECTION, THE MUPPETS' WIZARD OF OZ, MUSIC BOX BIOGRAPHICAL
COLLECTION: CHRISTINA AGUILERA, NAIL GUN MASSACRE, SCHULTZE GETS THE
BLUES, and ST. MICHAEL HAD A ROOSTER:
EXCESSIVE FORCE II (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 76/100):
"It's all predictable and mildly entertaining, but the bottom line is
that Excessive Force II has offered nothing notable to grant it
access into the Repository of Obscure Action Movies That Are
Surprisingly Cool."

FACE (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 65/100):
"Even if you enjoy Asian horror and psychological thrillers, this
effort to combine them have just resulted in a film that handles both
genres poorly."

HOUSE OF VOICES (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 65/100):
"House of Voices is an ending in search of a movie. If I were a
betting man, I would say writer-director Pascal Laugier came up with
the final five minutes of the flick and then attempted to fashion a
story around them."

MALLRATS: 10TH ANNIVERSARY EXTENDED EDITION (reviewed by Ryan Keefer,
overall score 76/100):
"I almost expected to see what Smith would do if he were named Ms.
America by the time I was done watching this, but he is tongue in cheek
about the reason for such an extensive DVD: 'A DVD like this is awesome
for a shut-in.'"

MISTY MUNDAE EURO VIXEN COLLECTION (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall
score 40/100):
"The Misty Mundae Euro Vixen Collection -- with its four movies, copious
extras, and cornucopia of actresses -- is a great way to introduce
yourself to Seduction Cinema's lineup. The important question you must
ask yourself is: Do you want to do that?"

THE MUPPETS' WIZARD OF OZ (reviewed by Bryan Pope, overall score
60/100):
"Oz feels uncomfortably cramped, almost claustrophobic, particularly
while Dorothy is in Munchkinland. And while we're talking about
Munchkinland, what's with all the mushroom houses? I kept expecting
Gargamel to spring out from behind a tree and hunt for Smurfs."

MUSIC BOX BIOGRAPHICAL COLLECTION: CHRISTINA AGUILERA (reviewed by Ian
Visser, overall score 10/100):
"I don't know where these historians got their degrees in rock, but most
of their comments are on par with things your 12-year-old sister would
say at a slumber party. "

NAIL GUN MASSACRE (reviewed by Paul Corupe, overall score 51/100):
"Nail Gun Massacre isn't the first hardware horror film to explore the
kill-potential of a pneumatic nail gun, but it is certainly the worst."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/nailgunmassacre.php
SCHULTZE GETS THE BLUES (reviewed by Neal Solon, overall score 75/100):
"Unfortunately, the film's own slothful delivery is likely to tire an
audience before it discovers the true purpose of Schultze's journey,
more than an hour and a half into the film."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/schultzegetsblues.php
ST. MICHAEL HAD A ROOSTER (reviewed by Jesse Ataide, overall
score 65/100):
"The idea is certainly an interesting one, but unfortunately, the film
doesn't do much with Tolstoy's story. Quite frankly, this film is dull,
a little wisp of a movie that isn't really much of anything when it
comes down to it."
