I looked at the 533/633 and found out I could NOT give of the editing and
timer features of my 520. I ended up buying another. The 533had a 160Gbyte
drive could do dual layer and could copy VR mode onto a Video mode disc.
These features really turned me on. But, now the only way to edit is through
the peek hole screen. I never used that mode on my 520. The timer uses the
TV guide IPG and it is almost impossible to program. The TV Guide IPG is
always wrong giving late starts or early ends. So the only way to get leader
and trailer is to program it yourself. They removed all the easy timer
setting features forcing you to set the absolute day and time. Really turned
something good into shit.
Wait for the 540 and see if it fixes all the bugs the 533 has.
