Never had problems with RWs... Some hints in random order:
Did you format the DVD using the DVDR70?
Have you done already similar recordings using a stable input?
You sure you had stable power over the WE?
The only way I can overwrite an already recorded video is to select it and
then shutdown the unit. And this not what you did...
I would do some tests with a stable input, then move to more tests
with the Sky box (that I do not have).
