actually, last i read, the sony model is less than $1000.
and the samsung blu-ray and other models are $900 or less.
the advantage is to toshiba, but right now the market they're targeting
is the "quality" crowd, who have the brains and money to figure that
quality (and the larger storage capacity) is what matters. people pay
premium all the time for better features and quality. it'll be the same
here i think.
plus, as time passes the prices will come down.
