I have a Sony KD-32DX40U TV which has a built in Freeview decoder but I am a
little confused (easily done!). My recorder is a Pioneer DVR-420H DVD/HD
recorder.
Now, I can of course record the digital signal onto the Pioneer however I
can't change the channel on the digital TV when recording because if I do
the recorder then records the new channel I have flipped over to, so for
instance I can't record a program on BBC one whilst watching another on ITV.
Did I screw up by having a TV with a built in digital decoder or do I have
things set up wrong?
