well . . dude . . not all people live in large metropolitian areas . . and .
.. the pc hack shack was an authorized Apple/Macintosh "chop shop" as YOU
called it just not an authorized "warranty" shop.

we're in rural america and do work for large metropolitan shops let alone
our own tv broadcast, commercials, and movie sub-contract work.

in our opinion it was Apple/Mac that screwed us both when we bought their
STUFF and secondly when they RIPPED us off by not warranting their
malfunctioned product from a station that they (apple/mac) authorized but
failed to tell the buyer (us) that they have warranty authorized and dealer
authorized stations and that their not the same type of dealers. the result
was . . they lost us as a customer, we've convinced two other editors to buy
pc's instead of Apple/Mac crap, and one of them has managed to open a second
unit in pittsburgh with pc's and they have subbed a third unit and converted
that station to pc's.

the damage they did to us, was the tip of a rather large ice berg, the
latter station we spoke of having spent over $65,000 in the last two years
upscaling their operations . . which by the way . . is a sub-contractor for
local TV who use Apple/Mac's and find that it's easier for them to just sub
the work out (the latter being edited and produced on pc's - not apple/mac)

yea! to pc's worldwide!
