Big deal...the reality is that there will be no output of uncompressed
"HD" audio...read the BR and HD-DVD specs.
Compressed audio does not mean "lossy"...it just means "compressed".
There are many compression systems that give 2:1 compression on any audio
with no loss. It's also easy to get 4:1 compression and only lose 1-2 LSB
every 20 samples, which is completely inaudible.
