Oh, yes, this is a good one. Warren William is good as always, and Mae
Robson is wonderful as Apple Annie. This is another one of those great
movies from what I call his "pre-IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT" phase of his
career where he worked in a variety of genre, with strong success in
each.

Interesting. I really enjoy the Damon Runyon stories-I just saw THE
LEMON DROP KID the other night and found it to be a really sweet and
funny movie, underrated in my opinion. For years, LADY FOR A DAY was
very hard to see. I would like to track down more Damon Runyon-based
films as they become available.
Now if only Universal could work out the rights to IT AIN'T HAY...
