didn't i explain this to you already? iHD is based on HTML/scripts.
Java is an application language. It's like comparing a game like Doom,
or Adobe Photoshop, or Microsoft Offic to an HTML page (like the one
we're using right now).

Because Java is used by Blu-ray, it provides interactivity not possible
with Toshiba's HDDVD.

Now you're making up stuff. Desperate, aren't you?

I never mentioned anyone "clamoring"...PLEASE show me when i said
that....

what i said was that there is probably a market segment that would
appreciate these additional features. Just like in phones, when the
mobiles started showing up with games and apps and ringtones, some
people were poo-poohing it and saying people only wanted to make calls
on the phones, and yet here we are 5 years later, a multi-billion
dollar industry built on providing mobile apps, games, and others stuff
for consumers. So, there was a market segment that appreciated these
features.

Really? The statement obviously is true as stated. What exactly is
false about that? TDK just released 25 GB discs and has already priced
the 50 GB discs it says will come out later.

Hello?? Helloo???? Is there anyone there????

When did i say this.eh?

Ok, I know you're REALLY desperate now for any vindication, but please
restrain your flights of fancy!

Hello? Hello? When did i say "Overwhelming support"? It has more
studios on its side, and more manufacturers, but obviously HDDVD has
its supporters or we woudln't have a "format" war.

Your capacity for imagining things that i supposedly said knows no
bounds! I bet ya you're just copying and pasting these from some
Toshiba HDDVD FAQ, right?

Hey, man, do you know the difference between false statements and
opinions?

I was thinking I'd have a REAL argument here, and here you go making
stuff up in your desperation.

Hey, are you saying we should trust the opinions of some anonymous
internet guy (who's slightly delusional) over a large research firm?
Hmmmm....NO.

They may be wrong, they may be right, but at least they're staking
their name on it. You're just some anonymous poster in usenet.

SIGH...move over dude. You had your chance to make valid points and all
you do is (1) ascribe false statements to me; (2) give ranting opinions
on products like Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, etc, without noting that
Toshiba actually has a worse brand name than the others.

Let someone else make some good points.
