Bill.. can the soapbox demagogue stuff. No one has referred to 'mine' in any
of these threads.
We're talking about operating systems and computers here.
You are DEFINATELY on only one side of that fence and have made that clear
in every thread regarding Macs and PCs. Except you take it personally.
It has nothing to do with people.. or 'mine' or anything. Many of us have
BOTH systems, unlike you, and we are simply ranting about the relative
marits as we see them. A perfectly legitimate discsussion and it has nothing
to do with anything but the manufacturers, the products and their usability
.. I happen to think they are overhyped crap. You seem to think that has
something to do with the people that use them..

Right.. that's why they stayed with the Motorola CPUs. I am sure that they
are not content funding the Mac side of things with iPod profits and they
would rather their computers turn profits. ALL of these moves made by Apple
as of late are serious efforts to stay in the game. The iPod/iTunes cash cow
will only last so long.

You mean like those who were sure that Apple's hardware solution would
ALWAYS be better than the PC?
Or those who were sure that they didn't need virtual memory or memory
management like Windows?
Or those who predicted that OSX would crush Windows?
Those predictions?

I have yet to see anyone but you refer to anything as 'my way' or 'your way'
... relax.
One very possible scenario from the looks of things is that the Apple
experiment could fail. Now that they are in direct competition with all of
the Windows machines.. ie: the real world, they may certainly have trouble.
Discussing these possibilities IS OK Bill. Relax.
