Unlike you, I'm not pushing anything. My only agenda is to debunk the
FUD and misinformation being spread in these forums by people like
yourself with dubious motives. I will wind up owning and fairly
evaluating both formats when they are available. I'm not here to spread
the gospel of how great a product that hasn't even been released to the
public or professional reviewers is.
I just think it's ridiculous for Blu-Ray players to be priced at twice
the competition when they offer insignificant techical differences, some
of which are actually inferior to HD-DVD. How they each pan out
performance-wise remains to be seen. If there is any significant
difference in real video and audio quality between them I'll be shocked.
