I've currently got a Samsung 950 POS hooked up to my glass plasma, but I'm
sick of it not switching aspect ratio using the HDMI output. I know there
is no trigger via the HDMI, but are there any DVD players that will modify
the output automatically for 4:3 stuff? The Samsung has a manual butting,
but you have to press it 3 times to get it to 4:3 and it will also reset
after that video stream, so if you're watching extras on a DVD that are all
in 4:3 and are small and bitty, you get a bit pissed at constantly pressing
this soddin' button!
