I don't know much about the Blu-Ray spec, but if things progress like
they have with other media, it should actually have faster seek times.
The problem with DVDs taking a while to load isn't just recognition of
the media, but loading IFO files and running the scripts contained
within. But then the same thing will apply to Blu-Ray as well, won't
it? Depends on how fast the processor on the player runs.
