agree! both the apple and mac people gave up on our issue when we called
time and time again, they said, "well, we don't know what's wrong, why not
just take it to a service center." when we did, mac didn't pay for the
repair because as they put it - - "although the station at which you took
the unit for repair was an authorized Mac repair facility, it wasn't an
authorized warranty facility." geez, we have to read the fine print on the
sign and/or take a lawyer along with us to interpret the signage language?
it was easier to just change the names of both the hardware and software :o)
now, it's an easy fix with lots of resources.
